Women's Day on Broadway Advisory Committee
Myriah Bash is the General Manager of Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. She first joined Disney Theatrical Productions in 2007 working on the many worldwide productions of The Lion King. In addition to maintaining the existing productions, she also opened 5 international productions of the show during her tenure. In 2014, she transitioned to Aladdin to open the show on Broadway. She now oversees the day to day operations on Broadway and the First National Tour while maintaining the Stuttgart and Tokyo shows and mounting new international productions including the upcoming productions in Scheveningen and Mexico City. Currently, she is also working alongside the Producers and original Creative team of Beauty and the Beast on a new production of the show. Globally she has opened shows in 10 different countries and in 7 different languages. Prior to joining Disney Theatrical, she worked at Richard Frankel Productions and Broadway Asia. Other Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, Company, The Producers, Little Shop of Horrors and Hairspray. She is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University.
Manager of Domestic Touring & Planning for Disney Theatrical Group, Liz Botros joined Disney Theatrical Group in 2011 as the Manager of Domestic Touring & Planning where she oversees the day to day operations and engagement management of the national tours of The Lion King, Aladdin, Frozen and the upcoming tour of Aida. Previous touring credits include, Newsies and Mary Poppins. Prior to Disney, Liz spent 4 years as the Assistant Programming Manager at Broadway Across America, where she assisted in booking Broadway tours throughout BAA’s extensive network of markets in the United States and Canada. Additionally, Liz has been part of the general management team at Jujamcyn Theaters, as well as an Assistant House Manager at the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway working on Jersey Boys. Liz has also worked regionally at The Contemporary American Theatre Company in Columbus, Ohio and abroad at the National Museum of Science & Technology in London, England. Originally from Cleveland, she holds a she holds a degree in Theatre, with a specialization in Business, from The Ohio State University. Liz is an Industry Specialist of The Broadway League and serves on the Professional Development Advisory Council.
EVP of Content & Creative for Ambassador Theatre Group North America, overseeing the producing and programming departments. A Tony Award-winning producer, her credits include Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite; David Byrne’s American Utopia; Fun Home; The Humans; Bring it On; Red; Legally Blonde; and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Kristin is a member of the IPN and on the Executive Committee of the Broadway League.
Executive Vice President of Audience Rewards, the Official Rewards Program of Broadway, where she has driven the company’s marketing, partnerships, and business development strategies for 10 years. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Movemeant Foundation, a charity that helps girls build confidence and life skills; and as a mentor in the NYU-Tisch Drama Women’s Mentorship Program.
Valerie Lau-Kee Lai
Her Broadway career spans over 35 years, beginning onstage with King and I, then moving to the production side of the industry, working as a stage manager beginning with Carousel, spanning 8 Original Broadway Companies through Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark. Lau-Kee Lai currently serves as the Producing Director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Disney’s Women of Broadway builds a community of women, including all those who identify as women and/or non-binary, who are working in — or fans of — the Broadway, Off-Broadway, and professional theater industry. Each event is meant to offer an opportunity to share experiences, struggles, and victories with the goal of supporting each other to make our industry stronger.
